7:00 PM Pioneers in Your Attic Opening Event
The Logan Library is hosting an opening event for Pioneers in Your Attic, a pioneer legacy digital project sponsored by Utah Academic Library Consortium and Mountain West Digital Library in partnership with local libraries and museums. The project will allow people to share their family's history with the world by scanning and digitizing historical documents and photographs at participating public libraries. The project is especially focused on preserving the legacy of the Western Overland Migration. Come to the opening event to learn more!
7:00 PM Summer Helicon West
Helicon West, an open-mic reading session for writers from our community, will meet the fourth Thursday of each month during the summer. It will be an interesting hour of poetry, short fiction, and other writing read by local writers. Special guest readers, including regional authors, educators, and publishers, are sometimes featured. Bring your own short pieces of writing to read to an audience, or come to listen and support community writers. All styles of original writing are welcome. Readers are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign up.
