The Friends of the Logan Library are reviving their speaker series with a talk by Ph.D. student Habiba Ali Nur and representatives from Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection entitled What You Need to Know About Refugees in Utah. Wed, Aug 21, 7:30 PM, Bonneville room

The FLL invite you to learn about the refugee resettlement process and the refugee communities that call Utah home.

Habiba Ali Nur is the former Deputy Director for Women's Development in Agriculture in Somalia, and has worked as a client advocate for Somali refugee communities in Utah and as an adjuct professor at Salt Lake Community College. She is currently a PhD student at Utah State University researching nutrition and nutrition education.
