The festival is a celebration of independent films and seeks to inspire young filmmakers and help them succeed in the film industry. Anyone should feel like they can submit a film and enjoy the screenings of the films.

Film entries will be accepted through April 7th in six categories: feature narratives, student, short short narratives, feature documentaries, short documentaries and other category. Films must have been completed after March 2009. Cash awards will be given to the best film in each category. Independent films that are chosen from the entries will be screened April 20th-21st in three local venues: the Lyric Theatre, the Dansante Theatre, and the Logan Arthouse Theatre.
