Toddler Storytime

12:00 PM Tree Trimming Class

Rex Davis, Logan City Forestry Division Foreman will cover very basic tree biology, proper trimming techniques, how to trim with an eye to the future, how to treat shade trees and fruit trees because they are totally different and briefly touch on planting trees and mulch.

The Logan Library is starting a new Tween Club! We'll be playing with some new tech and just generally having a good time.

What is a tween? A kid who feels a little too old for Children's activities, but isn't ready (or old enough) to go to Teen activities. Generally, ages 10-14'ish.

5:00 PM CVCWC Writing Workshops

The Cache Valley Community Writing Center will be holding the following writing workshops in March:

  • March 6th: Composing Chilling Villians - Jack Bylund
  • March 13th: Closed for Spring Break!
  • March 20th: Devising Fierce Females - Sigma Tau Delta Team
  • March 27th: Fresh Springtime Prompts - Cari Phillips

All CVCWC Worskhops are held in the Brider Room of the Logan Library from 5 pm to 6 pm, Wednesday nights. Free one-on-one tutoring is available from 6 pm to 7 pm. No registration required. Free and open to the public.

6:30 PM Play with The Family Place - Gardening

Come ring in spring and start your family's garden with The Family Place! Your kids will not only learn how to plant seeds but they will also learn how to take care of the vegetable plant. Spend some quality family time and get a jump start on a garden for the spring!

7:30 PM The Singer as... Scientist: Scott McCoy, Recital

The USU Department of Music is thrilled to present its three-part visiting artist and scholar series, The Singer A..., where we explore the various career paths of professional singers. The second installment, The Singer AsÂ… Scientist features internationally recognized voice teacher Dr. Scott McCoy. Dr. McCoy teaches at The Ohio State where he is Voice Area Head and also director of the Helen Swank Voice Lab. Dr. McCoy is also author of the pedagogy textbook Your Voice: An Inside View. This recital is the culmination of a residency of Dr. McCoy during which he works with USU voice students in a variety ways.
