MTW Summer Academy

Music Theatre West presents a teen production workshop (ages 12-18) of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.

TEENS! We can't wait to see you this Summer for a two-week intensive workshop production of Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. We will produce the show, from audition to performance, in just 10 days! We will rehearse July 9-13 and 16-20, from 10AM-5PM and then perform the show twice on Saturday, July 21st at Green Canyon High School. This is our fourth Summer of creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Mark your calendars now and don't miss this remarkable workshop.

9:00 AM Providence Canyon Trail Re-route
Volunteers will be doing finish work using rakes and shovels and moving road base and gravel. Time and weather permitting, we will transplant native Rocky Mtn. maple trees within the project area. The purpose of the project is to re-route the trail, complete finish work, move road base and gravel.

Volunteers should wear personal protection equipment, such as; hat, long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection and sunscreen if necessary. You will also need plenty of water.

9:00 AM Pumpkin Walk (North Logan)

Since 1983, the North Logan Pumpkin Walk has been a Cache Valley Utah tradition! This free to the public event features dozens of displays created from pumpkins by local residents. This year's theme is Where In The World?

Park at Greenville Elementary (400 E. 2500 North) or the Cache Valley Specialty Hospital. The Cache Valley Transit District will run buses every few minutes between the school to Elk Ridge Park, where the Pumpkin Walk is held. The Pumpkin Walk is open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm each day.

11:30 AM Loaves and Fishes Community Meal

Join us for a meal around a shared table and help us build community together! Free and open to all, this meal is hosted by different organizations as we work to get to know others from around the valley. Served from 11:30-1:00.

Held the first and third Saturday of every month. Non-denominational and community supported by a variety of Cache Valley agencies and organizations, including St Thomas, St John's, Prince of Peace, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cache Valley Food Pantry, Volunteer Center, PAWS, and others. All are welcome. The meal is not sponsored by or promoting a specific church or belief.

6:30 PM Stories in Concert: Legend of Sleepy Hollow
With music, theater, and festival, Stories in Concert connects families to great literature through an extraordinary storytelling experience.

Stories in Concert offers much more than a typical outdoor musical theater production. Stories in Concert brings classic stories, like The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in Concert, to life. Our family-friendly productions feature activities, games, and costumed characters from the world of the author and his book. Even our concessions menu stems from the story.

7:00 PM Historic Downtown Logan Ghost Tour

Haunted structures, nighttime spirits, and eerie stories await your arrival this Halloween Season in Historic Downtown Logan

Learn about downtown’s most infamous ghosts, poltergeists, and spirits doomed to the realm of mortals. The Historic Downtown Logan Ghost Tour is technically a family-friendly tour, however, it is not recommended for small children or for people who don’t like to be scared.

Your private guided walking tour will take you into the heart of Logan’s haunted history as you visit sites with the Bridgerland Storytelling Guild and Green Wolf Productions.

Each guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and walking distance is less than ½ mile. Tours run nightly between 7:00 and 11:00pm. Fridays and Saturdays in October (5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27).

And for those who want to go on Ghost Hunts deep into the night, paranormal investigators will be available following your tour.

Experience the magic and mystery of ancient legends and cherished traditions in this vibrant celebration of Celtic song and dance. An Tús Nua Irish Dance Troupe presents Celtic Hallows Eve! Be transported to another world with toe-tapping performances from nationally ranked Champion Irish stepdancers, live music, Gaelic language, and a glimpse into the magical realm of the world's most beloved legends! Proceeds from this one-night performance help support the American Cancer Society.
