Built Environment Exhibit

In commemoration of Utah State University’s 130-year anniversary and the Year of the Arts, the Merrill-Cazier Library presents an exhibit celebrating USU’s Built Environment. The exhibition tells the story of USU’s development and highlights student and community efforts to shape the campus.

The exhibit runs from Jan. 29th through March 2nd.

There will be a grand opening on Feb. 8th in the library atrium at 4:30. Then at 5:30 in room 101 there will be a guest speaker, Martha Bradley Evans, a professor in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Utah.

Sleigh Rides at Hardware Ranch WMA

Hardware Ranch WMA offers a unique opportunity to get up close to wild Rocky Mountain Elk on a horse drawn sleigh. Beginning Dec 8th, 2017 until Feb 26th, 2018, Hardware Ranch is open Mon & Fri 12 noon - 4:30pm, and Sat & Sun 10am - 4:30pm. Tickets are sold in the Visitors Center.

6:30 PM Top Hats and Tiaras Dance Party

Maverick Mamas and Cache Valley Family Magazine are joining forces for a Ties and Tiaras Daddy-Daughter Dance PAR-TAY on Friday, February 2 at the Whittier Center starting 6:30 pm. Ticket price provides admission for one dad and one daughters ($35) (+$5 for each additional daughter with a $50 price cap).

Guests can expect:

  • Dance party with a professional DJ spinning just the right kind of tunes to keep everyone moving and having fun.
  • Bottomless House of Pop soda bar.
  • Fresh-baked cookies by Crumbl.
  • Flowers for each girl.
  • Photos taken by a professional photographer available for FREE download.

Logan Youth Shakespeare perform William Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice. Special matinee performance on February 3rd at 2:00 pm.

The Logan Youth Shakespeare (LYS) program provides a new opportunity for Cache Valley youth (aged 9-18) to learn and perform Shakespeare plays. Young actors experience the beauty of Shakespeare's language and the relevance of his characters by acting in his plays.
