The Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre presents Into The Woods

Once Upon a Time...a baker and his wife ventured Into the Woods to find ingredients to lift a witch’s curse so they could have a child. Along the way they met Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and other colorful characters in this must-see magical musical quest.

International Quilt Invitational Exhibition(Brigham)

46th International Quilt Invitational Exhibition

Featured Quilter: Barbara Barrick McKie, Connecticut

This exhibition will feature art quilts by Utah's finest quilters, as well as amazing, award-winning quilters from around the world.

The exhibition is presented by the Brigham City Museum of Art & History and is supported by Village Dry Goods, Brigham City's awesome quilt shop.

The Brigham City Museum of Art & History is located at 24 North 300 West in Brigham City. The facility is in the lower level of the Senior/Community Center. The entrance is on the west side. From Interstate 15, take the Forest Street exit and travel east to 300 West. The museum is on the corner of Forest Street and 300 West.

Music Theatre West presents a teen production workshop (ages 12-18) of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.

TEENS! We can't wait to see you this Summer for a two-week intensive workshop production of Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. We will produce the show, from audition to performance, in just 10 days! We will rehearse July 9-13 and 16-20, from 10AM-5PM and then perform the show twice on Saturday, July 21st at Green Canyon High School. SNC Mountaineers Summer Camp

Mountaineers will expand their knowledge of natural history by learning the names and adaptations of native plants and animals while canoeing through cutler marsh, increase self reliance by navigating a climbing wall, and booting confidence and self-esteem as they build friendships and teamwork skills on the ropes course.

Historic Adventures are happening right now at the American West Heritage Center. From now until August 18, visitors can participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy, including pony and train rides, cow milking, and Tea Time Fridays, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5.

Dr. Thorne, a Logan native, will give a presentation about our Universe that will be informative and entertaining for all ages,using a lot of unique visual material: images and videos.

The talk is entitled: My Journey through Space and Time: The Big Bang, Black Holes, and Gravitational Waves.

Dr. Thorne was also scientific consultant and Executive Producer on the movie “Interstellar” which won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.

5:20 PM Main Street Walkabout with Poet Laureate Star Coulbrooke

Join Logan City Poet Laureate Star Coulbrooke for a Main Street poetry walkabout! Participants will take a leisurely stroll south from the courthouse, reading poetry along the way, to the Blue Bird Café (19 North Main) where we will write from a prompt and perhaps stay for dinner.
