Every Friday evening, the Cache Pride Center provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ youth, ages 14 to 17.

We also just added a LGBTQ+ youth and LGBTQ+ affirming youth group every Friday for ages 10 to 14.

In each group we:

  • we provide a hot meal and check in with our youth
  • tailor to needs of youth through support groups, individually crafted lessons to develop lifelong skills, creative expression workshops, peer support
  • provide an hour of tutoring during the school year
  • assist in accessing affirming health care, mental health care, local organizations, Suicide prevention, and additional relevant resources

Our mission at the Cache Pride Center is to transform and support Cache Valley Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Pansexual, plus (LGBTQIAP+) communities through support groups, comprehensive programming, suicide prevention, mentoring, advocacy, and training devised to promote positive outlooks and change within underserved populations.
