Beaver Mountain Music Festival

Beaver Mountain and Smile Productions invite you to join us for the 2018 Beaver Mountain Music Festival!

We have an amazing line-up of 31 incredible artists, including 13 nationally touring acts, bringing you funky jams, indie grooves, booming bass, and blistering bluegrass.

International Quilt Invitational Exhibition(Brigham)

46th International Quilt Invitational Exhibition

Featured Quilter: Barbara Barrick McKie, Connecticut

This exhibition will feature art quilts by Utah's finest quilters, as well as amazing, award-winning quilters from around the world.

The exhibition is presented by the Brigham City Museum of Art & History and is supported by Village Dry Goods, Brigham City's awesome quilt shop.

The Brigham City Museum of Art & History is located at 24 North 300 West in Brigham City. The facility is in the lower level of the Senior/Community Center. The entrance is on the west side. From Interstate 15, take the Forest Street exit and travel east to 300 West. The museum is on the corner of Forest Street and 300 West.

10:00 AM A Wrinkle In Time Summer Book Camp

This is a FREE interactive reading camp for young readers. The reading camp combines live, interactive, online sessions with the in-person activities and camaraderie offered in the library.

We will be reading and discussing the book A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle. This two-week camp is intended for children ages 8 - 14.

11:00 AM Historic Adventures

Historic Adventures are happening right now at the American West Heritage Center. From now until August 18, visitors can participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy, including pony and train rides, cow milking, and Tea Time Fridays, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5.

Historic Adventures starts June 6, 2017 and goes until August 19, 2017, Tuesday - Saturday, 11AM - 5PM.

5:00 PM Cache Pride Center Youth Groups

Every Friday evening, the Cache Pride Center provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ youth, ages 14 to 17.

We also just added a LGBTQ+ youth and LGBTQ+ affirming youth group every Friday for ages 10 to 14.

In each group we:

  • we provide a hot meal and check in with our youth
  • tailor to needs of youth through support groups, individually crafted lessons to develop lifelong skills, creative expression workshops, peer support
  • provide an hour of tutoring during the school year
  • assist in accessing affirming health care, mental health care, local organizations, Suicide prevention, and additional relevant resources

Our mission at the Cache Pride Center is to transform and support Cache Valley Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Pansexual, plus (LGBTQIAP+) communities through support groups, comprehensive programming, suicide prevention, mentoring, advocacy, and training devised to promote positive outlooks and change within underserved populations.
