Friends of the Logan Library Public Big Book Sale

Mark your calendar for the Friends of the Logan Library Public Big Book Sale held at the library on Friday and Saturday, May 1st and 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Lake Bonneville Room.

Books purchased from Lake Bonneville Room will be sold at the price of $5.00 for a grocery-size plastic bag of books.

The Friends of the Logan Library Bookstore will also be open during the book sale, but will offer the regular prices of $1.00 for hardbacks and .50 cents for paperbacks. We accept cash and personal checks.

It's time to stock up on some good books to read! Mark your calendars and come on down to the Friends of the Logan Library Book Sale.

Visual Art Classes begin

Art basics for K-8 Grades. Classes for High School and adults in Acrylics, Oriental Brush Painting & Caligraphy, Sculpture, Oil, Watercolor, Drawing & Pastels. 5 class term.

Term runs October 20th thru November 21st.

4:00 PM Keeping it Real

An accredited program using the Why Try? Curriculum to help teens overcome life's daily pressures and challenges. Topics include: believing in oneself to overcome personal obstacles and achieve great potential, tearing off hurtful labels, making good decisions, overcoming hurdles, self-discipline, creating a support system and seeing a positive future.

Offered by the Child and Family Support Center this is an 8 week class. Call to register today!

7:00 PM The Complete Works of Shakespeare(Abridged)

Three guys, one dead playwright, and 37 plays, all in under two hours. Knowledge about Shakespeare's works is helpful, but not at all necessary. All that is needed is time enough to watch and someone to dial 911 in case you pass out from laughing so much.

Directed by Sam Farnsworth. Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield.
