Utah Quilt Guild 40th Anniversary Exhibition (Brigham)

A kaleidoscope in fabric, minus the mirrors and bits of glass, awaits visitors to the Brigham City Museum during the Utah Quilt Guild’s Ruby Jubilee Exhibition Jan. 28 through March 25. Admission is free. More than 40 chapters in the guild, which is celebrating its 40th birthday, are represented in the exhibition. Barbara Walsh of Woodland Hills coordinated the event. Walsh, a past president of the guild, says, “Our organization is the first state quilting guild organized in America.”

3:30 PM Teen Tuesday: So Bored!

Looking for something fun to do after school or during the summer break? Then come to the library for Teen Tuesdays. We'll be doing something fun every Tuesday at 3:30 pm.

Before the Wii, before the PS3, even before the ATARI, there were board games. Stop by the library on the second Tuesday of each month to play some of our favorites.

6:30 PM Evening Spanish-Language Storytime

The Logan Library presents evening Spanish language storytime Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Led by native Spanish speakers, Hora del Cuento will be held in the Children’s Reading Corner at the library.

Both native speakers and those who would like a Spanish immersion experience are encouraged to attend. Please join us!

Spanish storytime is also available Wednesday Mornings at 10:15 am in the Lake Bonneville Room.

6:30 PM Hearing Loss Educational Series

Are you lost in the conversation? Can you hear voices but can't understand words?

Join us for a free 6-week educational class about how to live better with your hearling loss. People who are Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened and their Families, Co-Workers, Friends, and People who are losing their hearing.

Topics covered include:

  • Understand your hearing loss
  • Make changes in communication
  • Reduce communication breakdowns
  • Learn coping strategies
  • Learn about assistive listening devices available
  • Improve relationships

Class is taught by Tami Phelps, Hard of Hearing Assistant for Division of Services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

7:00 PM Falling In Love Concert

A Valentines Concert featuring love songs from Broadway to folk to opera, will be performed by Michael Bailey, Natalie Bailey Burningham, Susan Haderlie, and Betty Hammond, accompanied by Karla Axtell. The New Horizons Orchestra, directed by Janice McAllister and Patty Bartholomew, will compete the program with orchestral selections. Free and open to all so come celebrate with the ones you love!

7:00 PM Cache Community Guitar Ensemble
