6:30 PM Gardening with Jim Teagan: Square Foot Gardening 201

By popular demand, Jim Teagan returns to teach an advanced class of Square Foot Gardening.

  • Build on the 10 basics of SFG and learn advanced techniques of the system.
  • Class will include an overview of SFG 101.
  • Topics include: vertical gardening, special space requrements, and how-to for earlier and later harvests.
  • 90 Minute Class
  • Leave with handouts covering main topics.

Jim was trained and interned with Mel Bartholomew, inventor of the square foot gardening system. He?s been a certified SFG instructor for 16 years, taught all over the intermountain west, and written two eBooks, including The Wealthy Earth: My Success with the Square Foot Garden.

7:30 PM See How They Run

The Old Barn Community theatre presents See How They Run, directed by Matthew "Socks" Jeppesen.

Galloping in and out of the four doors of an English vicarage are an American actor and actress (he is now stationed with the Air Force in England), a cockney maid who has seen too many American movies, an old maid who "touches alcohol for the first time in her life," four men in clergyman suits presenting the problem of which is which (for disguised as one is an escaped prisoner), and a sedate Bishop aghast at all these goings-on and the trumped up stories they tell him.

Doors open at 7:00 pm; Performance at 7:30 pm

Matinee performances on August 1st and 8th at 2:30 pm.
