Bravo, Caruso!

The Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre presents: Bravo, Caruso!

The author of The Belle of Amherst and Lucifer's Child takes you backstage at the 1920 Metropolitan Opera to meet the greatest tenor in history. You become a reporter conducting an interview in Enrico Caruso's dressing room as his valet Mario helps him prepare for a performance that, unknown to both men, will be his last. Starring Michael Ballam.

Artists of Cache Valley

This annual community exhibition is a showcase of extraordinary local talent. The Department of Art + Design’s Tippetts & Eccles Galleries will host a select number of Cache Valley-based artists that demonstrate the breadth and depth of artistic activity in our community. This year the exhibition will feature paintings by Cody Jones and Nelson Boren, fused glass pieces by Dana Worley, ceramics by Kristi South, photographs by Maria Ellen Huebner, as well as work from many other artists. The exhibition can be viewed from Tuesday, June 25 through July 26th with a reception for the artists planned for July 12 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Jump the Moon Fundraising Garage Sale

We are having a garage sale!! If you have anything that you are willing to donate, we would be glad to sell it to support people with diverse abilities. You can bring donations to our studio (553 North Main Street Logan UT) on Friday or Saturday.

Most pricing will be “Make an Offer.” We are hoping for TONS of TREASURES of all sorts. This is a fundraiser for Jump The Moon, a nonprofit art studio for people with diverse abilities.

Please note: Main Street might still be a roadwork mess so if needed we will also use the additional parking located behind the studio on Dee Avenue (553 North 50 West).

MTW Summer Camp: Seussical Jr.

Music Theatre West presents a teen production workshop (ages 12-18) of Seussical, Jr.

We can't wait to see you this summer for a two-week intensice workshop production of Suessical Jr.! We will produce the show from audition to performance in jsut 10 days! We will rehearse July 1-3, 5-6, 8-13th from 10am-4pm and then perform the show twice on Saturday, July 13th.

9:00 AM Sewing Fun Camp

Learn new sewing techniques and improve old skills while learning to make a duffel bag! Eash student will construct a duffel bag that includes a zipper, bias tape enclosed seams, and webbing handles.

Students will be able to personalize their bags as the course progresses in addition to learning some new techniques as time allows. All fabric and necessary equipment are included with course fees.

Students must be 12-15 years old.

10:00 AM Cyberattacks and Cyber Insurance

This seminar will discuss legal issues involving cyberattacks and how individuals, governments, and businesses can safeguard against data breaches. Presented by retired FBI agent Frank Montoya and Logan lawyer Brian Craig. Sponsored by the Law Office of Brian Craig, PLLC.

Frank Montoya Jr. is a retired FBI special agent who served as the director of the national counterintelligence unit and special agent in charge of the FBI’s Seattle Division. He has appeared on PBS, MSNBC, CBS, and other television news outlets.

Brian Craig is a attorney in Logan, Utah and the author of a leading book on cyberlaw. Before starting his own law firm, he worked as an attorney in information services for Thomson-Reuters and Wolters Kluwer. He also teaches at Purdue University Global.

The Logan Tabernacle Summer Concert Series is enjoying it's 18th Season!

Join us for a stroll around Logan’s Historic Downtown. Each Gallery Walk features fantastic art from budding young talent to world class artists. The store fronts and historic buildings of Logan’s downtown make one large art gallery for the many fascinating art pieces that are displayed.

Maps of the Gallery Walk route can be found on the website, at Cache Valley Center for the Arts (43 S Main), or at the participating businesses, which will be marked with the official yellow banner (a list of participating businesses can also be found on the website). The Gallery Walk is free and open to the public. Some art work will be available for purchase.

Our featured artist will be Otto Derr. Derr specializes in intarsia woodwork art, a technique which uses different wood to crete a mosaic-like picture. The artist uses the grain and color of the wood, as well as stains, to create depth and patters..

7:30 PM Clybourne Park (Lyric)

The 2019 Season of Lyric Repertory Company brings to you Clybourne Park.

Stretching over 50 years, Clybourne Park portrays fictional events set before & after A Raisin in the Sun, & is loosely based on historical events that took place in the city of Chicago. Act One takes place in 1959, as white community leaders anxiously try to stop the sale of a home to a black family. Act Two is set in the same house in the present day, as the now predominantly African-American neighborhood battles to hold its ground in the face of gentrification.

Matinee performance on Saturday, June 29th, at 1:00 pm.
