10:00 AM English Classes for Adults

The English Language Center of Cache Valley will be holding English Classes for Adults for Beginning, Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, available mornings and evenings. We offer a special class for adults with no formal education, or who cannot read or write.

  • Registration: September 26th & 27th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Classes Begin: October 1st (Monday)
  • Clases End: December 7th
  • Class Fee: $25 per quarter

3:30 PM ASAP: After School Activity Program

Come join us in the Lake Bonneville Room every Thursday afternoon at 3:30pm for our After School Activity Programs. Each week is something different. Choose your interests or come every week. All activities are free and open to the public. Intended for kids age 5 to 11 and their families.

1st Thursday: Science Club

2nd Thursday: Lego Club

3rd Thursday: Engineering Club

4th Thursday: Games & Chess

5th Thursday: A New Surprise Each 5th Thursday!

5:30 PM Smithfield Lions Club Annual Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser

Tickets available from any Lion's Club member and at the door. Proceeds will go to local schools and vision.

7:00 PM Helicon West Open Mic Night

Helicon West is an open-mic reading/featured readers series for local poets and writers. Creative writers are invited to read up to 7 minutes of their original work. Arrive early to sign up. Readings are free, open to the public and uncensored.

Helicon West provides a regularly-scheduled place and time for members of the writing community to give their work a public voice, with no restrictions on levels of skill and no censorship of ideas or craft. Publication of readers' work is a main goal.

Sponsored by the USU Writing Center and the Logan Library.

7:30 PM Whose Live Anyway?

It's like Whose Line Anyway . . . except it's Whose LIVE Anyway, and it's coming right to Logan! This completely improvised 90-minute show of games, scenes, and songs will tickle not only your funny bone, but every bone in your body. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with laughter and on the edge of your seat. And like the show, the audience provides suggestions, and who knows, you might even be asked on-stage!
