Financial Planning for Women
Financial Planning for Women (FPW) is a free monthly educational workshop designed to help women take control of their financial future. The mission of Financial Planning for Women is to educate women about personal finance and investing and motivate them to take responsibility for their financial future. The seminar meets the 2nd Wednesday (except August and December) at two times: 11:30AM-12:30PM at the USU Taggart Student Center room 336 (bring your lunch); and 7:00-8:30PM at the Family Life Center, 493 North 700 East, Logan (bottom of Old Main Hill). The longer evening time allows for more discussion. Programs are free and registration is not required.

May 8: Great Mutual Funds for your Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
June 12: Getting your house in order before buying a house
July 10: Saving for college with 529 college savings plans
August: NO MEETING
September 11: "Social Security and Retirement Timing," presented by financial planner Suzanne Dalebout, Head of Women's Division at Legacy Financial Group, LLC in Salt Lake City

The Hanging of El Bandito
Come enjoy a night of entertainment in beautiful Bear Lake! Start the evening off at the famous western cook-out, where you'll enjoy a huge western meal with your choice of rib-eye steak, lemon herb chicken, boneless BBQ pork ribs, or crispy chicken strips. 12:00 PM Noon Music at the Tabernacle
Monday through Friday during the summer months (June 4 - August 10) music is provided free of charge at the Logan Tabernacle. The program starts at 12PM, lasts 30 minutes and is performed by various artists. The only exception is that during Summerfest on the Logan Tabernacle Grounds on June 14,15 and 16th, there will be no concerts inside the building There will be many musical performances on the grounds outside, however. A schedule of performers can be found on the Logan Tabernacle's blog, at the Cache Valley Visitors Bureau, or at the concerts themselves.

1:30 PM Artisan Cheese Tour
Visitors to True Blue Aggie Cheese at Utah State University can see how cheese is made in a free tour. The tours will consist of viewing an 8-10 minute DVD on Aggie Cheese and then sampling a few cheese varieties for a total of about 15 minutes. Tours begin at 1:30pm Monday through Thursday (except on Holidays & Aggie Ice Cream Tours dates). Come and learn how to make Aggie Cheese!

7:30 PM Lend Me a Tenor
The Old Lyric Repertory Company presents Lend Me a Tenor. Discover the farce behind the scenes as opera star Tito Merelli goes missing during the Cleveland Opera's gala fundraiser. With a nod to the madcap screwball comedies of the 1930s, this modern farce will leave you gasping for breath as you navigate mistaken identities, blinding ambition, plot twists, slamming doors and inflated egos.
