Preschool Storytime

Our Children's Pre-School Storytime begins the week of January 7th.

Preschool Storytime is for children ages 3-5. 30 minutes of stories, songs and fun! Parents and caregivers are welcome.

The Logan Library offers a variety of Storytime programs, including Preschool Storytime, Toddler Storytime and Spanish Storytime, as well as Afterschool Activities.

3:30 PM ASAP: After School Activity Program

Come join us in the Lake Bonneville Room every Thursday afternoon at 3:30pm for our After School Activity Programs. Each week is something different. Choose your interests or come every week. All activities are free and open to the public.

After-School Activites are intended for children ages 6-12. Younger children are also welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent (to help with crafts and experiments).

2nd Thursday: Lego Club

3rd Thursday: Arts & Crafts Club

4th Thursday: Chess & Other Strategy Games

6:00 PM USU Extension Gardening Series: Backyard Beekeeping - The Basics (Evening)

There is nothing more rewarding than tasting homegrown honey. This workshop will cover the basics of backyard beekeeping, including how to get started, equipment needed, and pitfalls to watch for. Participants will receive a hive tool and information needed to have a thriving hive.

This spring series of garden-related classes and workshops are sponsored by USU Extension. Each workshop will offer participants a hands-on educational experience that is sure to help any backyard hobbyist become a better gardener.

7:00 PM Helicon West Open Mic Night

Helicon West is an open-mic reading/featured readers series for local poets and writers. Creative writers are invited to read up to 7 minutes of their original work. Arrive early to sign up. Readings are free, open to the public and uncensored.

Helicon West provides a regularly-scheduled place and time for members of the writing community to give their work a public voice, with no restrictions on levels of skill and no censorship of ideas or craft. Publication of readers' work is a main goal.

Sponsored by the USU Writing Center and the Logan Library.
