Preschool Storytime

Our Children's Pre-School Storytime begins the week of January 7th.

Preschool Storytime is for children ages 3-5. 30 minutes of stories, songs and fun! Parents and caregivers are welcome.

The Logan Library offers a variety of Storytime programs, including Preschool Storytime, Toddler Storytime and Spanish Storytime, as well as Afterschool Activities.

USU Exhibitions: Particle and Wave: Paperclay Illuminated, and Thomas Campbell Lint Basket Supremeo

Particle & Wave: Paperclay Illuminated features forty-five artists from across the world who incorporate paper pulp and organic fibers into their clay. The exhibition explores innovation, creativity and connection by sharing the breadth of work being created by artists spanning five continents who choose paperclay for its adaptability, tensile strength, translucency, and ecological and sustainable characteristics.

Thomas Campbell (born 1969) is a media maestro who parlays his ideas, thoughts, and feelings about the fringes of contemporary American culture into eloquent and romantic narratives. A cauldron of energy, Campbell spins out objects in various formats including sculpture, ceramics, music, printmaking, painting, photography, drawing, and film.

Join us once a month for children's stories performed for anyone who loves picture books, songs, and fingerplays. This event is perfect for families, bourgeoning storytellers, grandparents, and adults with special needs.

The library has a new Tween club! We'll be playing with some new tech and just generally having a good time.

What is a tween? A kid who feels a little too old for Children's activities, but isn't ready (or old enough) to go to Teen activities. Generally, ages 10-14'ish.

6:00 PM Logan Writers Group Writing Class

The Logan Writers Group offers Creative Writing Classes taught by Adam Fagin.

Winter Creative Writing Class, January 15th thru February 19th, 2020.

Spring Creative Writing Class, March 11th thru April 15th, 2020.

  • Join a friendly group of writers for six two-hour sessions, Wednesdays, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Discuss your stories, poems, essays and more
  • Learn techniques in fiction, nonfiction and poetry
  • Explore and improve your writing with in-class exercises, instructor feedback and peer review
