MyCon

Welcome to the first ever Cache Valley Gaming Convention! 51 Straight Hours of Gaming!! MyCon is The Spot for all your gaming needs. This is a three day event packed full of fun for all ages!

MyCon is a local gaming convention. We seek to promotes a safe environment for everyone--especially children--to play. We want to generate interest in all aspects of local, and geek culture, including but not limited to board games, comic books, video games, art, science fiction/fantasy, popular literature and any other family-friendly genre. The additional purpose of this three-day event is to raise funds for capsa and provide a venue where people can learn to play games they have not played before, participate in tournaments, and enjoy a culture of fun, family-friendly game play.

Indoors is the ticketed gaming event. Outdoors is a free to the public community fair. We'll have outdoor games and events as well as Zootah and My Discovery Destination.

10% of all proceeds donated to CAPSA!

Utah Plein Air Exhibit (Brigham)

During the Brigham City Museum’s Plein Air Exhibition, every corner visitors turn in the gallery they will experience the immensity and power of Utah’s landscapes. The scenic paintings will be on display Sept. 8 through Nov. 3. Admission is free.

“En plein air” is a French expression that refers to the 19th century style of painting outdoors.

Bring in the fall at AWHC with our Corn Maze on the Farm for some fall family fun. Visitors can walk through the corn maze, pumpkin patch, play in the bounce house, giant Connect 4 and Kiddy Sandbox. Don't miss out!

Our corn maze is a ton of fun. From our Hay forts to the Haunted River trail it is our goal to offer a variety of activities associated with fall and Halloween to make Little Bear Bottoms fun for people of all ages.

7:00 PM Helicon West Open Mic Night

Helicon West is an open-mic reading/featured readers series for local poets and writers. Creative writers are invited to read up to 7 minutes of their original work. Arrive early to sign up. Readings are free, open to the public and uncensored.

Helicon West provides a regularly-scheduled place and time for members of the writing community to give their work a public voice, with no restrictions on levels of skill and no censorship of ideas or craft. Publication of readers' work is a main goal.

Sponsored by the USU Writing Center and the Logan Library.
