Cache Makers Summer Camps

Cache Makers is offering a variety of Summer Camps for various grade levels on the following topics:

  • Raspberry Pi - for grades 6-8 & 9-12
  • 3D Printing - for grades 6-8 & 9-12
  • EV3 - for grades 3-5 & 6-8
  • Scratch - for grades 3-5 & 6-8
  • E-textile/Arduino - for grades 6-8 & 9-12
  • Advanced EV3 - for grades 6-8 & 9-12
  • WeDo - for grades K-2
  • Open Hours - Free on Saturdays, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Cache Makers IDs (4-H registration) required

Camps include snacks, t-shirt, and project materials. Grades as of January 1st, 2017. Contact us about need-based scholarships.

Cache Valley Storytelling Festival

Due to popular demand Randel McGee (puppeteer, ventriloquist and musican) and his fuzzy friend, Groark, (the puppet) are back. They will perform together during Youngster Yarns. And then Randel will tell Hans Christian Anderson Stories during the Final Fables. We also have Sam Payne (nationally acclaimed storyteller, singer/songwriter, radio personality, and arts educator) along with Nannette Watts (Artistic Director of the Resonance Story Theatre and Director of the National Youth Storytelling Showcase). Our Pre-Show features storytelling through movement by the Cache Valley Civic Ballet and music by Logan balladeer Jeff Sheperd.

8:00 AM Cache Valley Postie Rally

The Postie Rally is a nostalgic ride around the Cache Valley on small trail bikes; more specifically, the Honda Trail CT90 and CT110s. Other brands and sizes of motorcycles are welcome. All proceeds will be donated to the Utah Miss Amazing Pageant to benefit girls and women with disabilities.

10:00 AM Annual Bear River Celebration and Free Fishing Day

On Saturday June 9, 2018 children and teens are invited to Logan’s Willow Park West Skylar Pond to learn about water, conservation, water quality, wildlife, recycling, and the Bear River Watershed. Enjoy free fishing, educational booths, and activities.

Activities include:

  • Learn to fish with experts from the Division of Wildlife Resources
  • Meet the wildlife that call the Bear River Watershed home
  • Fly Tying with Cache Anglers
  • Face painting
  • Stream trailer and watershed demonstrations

Experience the past this summer during our Historic Adventures! Discover what it was like to live between 1820-1920. Unlimited pony rides and train rides. Hands-on activities at each site and fun for the whole family! Everything included in your admission.
