9:00 AM Cache Clean Air Consortium

The 1st Annual Cache Clean Air Consortium is a workshop that facilitates community partnerships that result in actionable strategies to improve air quality in the Cache Valley region of northern Utah.

The morning session is open to the public. Join us in the auditorium, room 216, University Inn & Conference Center, Utah State University, Logan, Utah.

    • 10:30 am - Short presentation by local speakers, including:

    • 11:30 pm - Keynote Speaker: Erin Mendenhall

Come and enjoy the fun! Corm Maze admission includes:

  • 7 Acre Corn Maze

  • Pony and Train Rides, 5pm until dark week nights; 1pm-4pm and 5pm until dark Saturdays

11:00 AM Friends of the Logan Library Book Sale

Through a generous donation from Gene Needham, owner of the former store “Books of Yesterday,” the Friends of the Logan Library will host a large-scale book sale in the old Car Care Center at 321 N Main St, beginning Saturday, August 16, 2014. The sale will continue into October.

Over 30,000 books will be available for purchase, as well as some wooden tables and shelving units from the recently vacated store, all at extremely low “yard sale” type prices.

3:00 PM Teens and Tweens Pinata Decorating

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th to October 15th, and we're CELEBRATING! Come join the fun!

As part of Hispanic Heritage month, the Logan Library is sponsoring Piñata Decorating for Teens and Tweens, Wednesday, October 1st 3:00 to 5:00 in the Jim Bridger Room.

Come learn about the history of pinatas, how they are made, and decorate one for yourself. It is bound to be all kinds of pinata fun! The activity is free and open to kids age 10 - 16. Come create a work of art!

7:00 PM USU Neighborhood Meeting

Come with your questions for Logan department heads and staff, Mayor Craig Petersen, and members of the City Council about neighborhood issues, projects, programs, and more. There will be presentations, info booths, and a Q&A panel.
