The Religious Studies Program along with the Department of History at Utah State University present Dr. Emil Kerenji, Researcher in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and his lecture "Jewish Responses to the Holocaust: From Spiritual and Religious Practices to Armed Resistance."
Dr. Kerenji will address the various ways in which Jewish peoples across Europe responded to widespread Anti-Semitism, the Nazi occupation, and genocide. The talk will be a 45 minute lecture, followed by a Q&A period, and will include photographs and other images from the Holocaust.
This lecture is open to both the University community and to the public.
