Block Printing Event

clear clear

October is Fair Trade Month. Celebrate with Global Village Gifts as they host an in-store Block Printing event. Bring your creative eye, experience the block-printing process firsthand and create a stunning design using handmade wooden blocks from Indian artisans. Block printing can be done on several different materials, including paper, fabric and wood. Feel free to bring your own piece to custom block print on.

Fair Trade helps provide sustainable employment for artisans around the world while working to preserve the environment and traditional art forms. Block Printing is one of the oldest types of printmaking, and has been around for thousands of years. It is a traditional art form and commonly used by skilled fair trade artisans.
