The Great Great Salt Lake Monster Mystery Event

clear clear

Join us for a special Children's Storytime! Jaimi Butler, coordinator of the Great Salt Lake Institute, will give a reading of The Great Great Salt Lake Monster Mystery! We'll have cookies for the kids, Jaimi will be bringing a number of hands-on exhibits for little fingers to examine. This event will begin at 6:30 pm.

Join a team of kids on an adventure to find the fabled Great Salt Lake Monster! Along the way, they'll discover cool stories about the lake, and the mystery of many natural wonders will be revealed!

Dr. Bonnie K. Baxter and Jaimi Butler, both of whom have dedicated the span of a career to studying Great Salt Lake, have crafted a picture book for young (and curious) readers that is full of the biology, geology, and people of our salty lake. Arly Landry's beautiful artwork betrays her fascination for, and love of, this extreme environment.
