United Way of Cache Valley was founded to distribute community resources more fairly, and to raise funds for deserving programs more efficiently. The United Way of Cache Valley is now the largest, most efficient fundraiser in the community, helping thousands of Cache Valley residents each year. In fact, one in three individuals will probably receive help from a United Way agency at some point.
United Way funds provide transportation for the elderly, help children from disadvantaged homes get an equal start in life, help families in crisis due to fire or flood, provide safe houses for abused women and children, provide health care, counseling and support for families with disease and illness, help adults learn to read and write, and give refugees a hand up when they arrive in our community.
The United Way of Cache Valley also gives opportunities to volunteer in the community. Youll find that when you volunteer to help your neighbors and friends that something good happens to you inside and youll never be the same.
