The Shire of Cote du Ciel is the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA), an international organization devoted to the research and re-creation of medieval life. Participants enrich their lives and the lives of others through events, demonstrations, and other educational activities using a knowledge of history. Activities may include all aspects of medieval life, such as armored sword combat, rapier combat, costuming, dancing, and crafts from the Middle Ages.
Meetings are held Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the Whittier Community Center.
