The society's goal is to serve community singers who wish to sing at a higher level. Musical pieces range from patriotic, seasonal and Broadway to musical masterworks. Group members have the opportunity to travel both within the United States and abroad, but travel is not mandatory. The society also participates with other choral groups. They have been in two PBS (public television) programs and have performed in Salt Lake City's Abravenel Hall and Kingsbury Hall. Membership is by audition. Auditions are held at the beginning of September and again in January. Call for exact dates and times. Members pay quarterly dues of $25.00. The Society meets each Wednesday evening from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. September through May.
