The Logan Ranger District manages the Bear River Mountain Range from Idaho to Blacksmith Fork. They protect water supplies, forests, resources, recreational opportunities and weed control.
The visitor center is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm, and provides recreation and camping information, trail maps, souvenirs, and useful guides to the area's natural and cultural history.
Volunteer needs: Trash pickup after the hunting season, cleaning activities, front office help and winter program volunteers. During the summer months volunteers are needed to participate in the forest stewards adopt a trail program by helping maintain popular trails, trailhead, lakes, roadway and other special interest areas.
