The Gator Swim Team is a self-supporting, nonprofit (501 (c) 3) organization. It is sanctioned by United State Swimming (USS) and competes in USS swim meets. The Gator's program is funded through monthly dues, corporate donations and organized fund raising throughout the swim season. Expenses include pool rental, coaches' salaries and travel expenditures to meets, team equipment, awards, newsletter and office costs. Swim season is Sept-Aug.
