The Cache Valley Fire Public Education Coalition was created in 2005 by joining the public education efforts and funding of all of the fire departments of both Cache County and Franklin County Fire Districts and Logan City Fire and EMS. The Coalition works to educate the public in fire safety and emergency prevention. The Cache County Fire District offers station tours, emergency response training and public awareness demonstrations to the citizens of Cache County.
The Cache Valley Fire Education Coalition has also created a program to offer free smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detectors to the citizens of Cache County. Call for information about qualifying for a free smoke detector.
