Artist: Kit Flannery

Biography: Flannery specializes in man-made fabric collage. Her preferred subject matter is wildlife. She moved from Park City to Logan in 1970 and enrolled at USU to study ceramics and fiber art. Bringing her own techniques to her designs, she made paper patterns then appliqued fabric to fabric background using a sewing machine. While living in Kenya Africa she was inspired to use bright bold fabrics in her designs. Lives in Hyde Park, UT.
