Friends of the Logan Library
The Friends of the Logan Library is a group of community supporters "dedicated to the promotion of the Logan Library and the advancement of the library's mission" (from the Bylaws).
Though a legally separate organization from the library, the Friends Board of Directors works closely with library administration to enhance the library's facility, programs, and collections, and to advocate for the library in the community.
All donations to the Friends, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt and nonprofit organization registered with the State of Utah, are tax-deductible and used solely for the purpose stated above.

Membership
Benefits: in addition to the pride of supporting the Logan Library with dues, members get first access to Friends book sales, and are able to serve on the Board of Directors.
If you are interested in joining, simply fill out the application in the membership brochure, place it an envelope along with your payment, and give it to library staff at the service desk or mail it to the library.
Annual membership levels:
$5 Individual
$10 Family
$50 Sponsor
$100 Patron
$500+ Corporate Sponsor
Youth (to age 18): no cost, no vote
Lifetime membership level:
$2000
The annual membership meeting and election is held on the third Wednesday in March. In 2025, the meeting will be on March 19 (time & location to be determined).
Book Sales
The Friends holds periodic book sales with all proceeds benefiting the library. Prices are $.50 for paperbacks, $1.00 for hardbacks, and $5.00 for a bag of books. Friends members get access to the sale before the general public. Volunteers are sometimes needed to help run the sales.
Board of Directors
Board members are elected at the annual membership meeting in March. The board typically meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM in the library's 2nd floor Sego Lily Conference Room to conduct the business of the Friends.
