William W. Owens

William W. Owens was born on April 3, 1888 in Willard, Utah. His parents were William Parsons Owens and Agnes Mary White. He married Clotilda Maria Woodyatt on November 27, 1912 in Salt Lake City and had four children. He died in Logan, Utah on March 29, 1969 in Logan.

Mr. Owens was director of Utah Extension Service at Utah State University from 1942 to 1948. While mayor, he served as vice president of the Utah Municipal League, and in 1956 was chosen president of this state unit. He also was a member of the Board of Directors at Logan LDS Hospital.

Mr. Owens was mayor of Logan City from 1950 to 1958.
