John H. Anderson

John H. Anderson was born on September 24, 1864 in Brigham, Utah. His parents were Johannes Andersson and Johanna Olsson. He married Anna (Annie) Charlotte Eliason on November 18, 1885 and Selma (Salma) Natalie (Natallia) Eliason on October 20, 1886 and had nine children. He died in Logan, Utah on June 10, 1945.

Mr. Anderson was one of Cache Valley's most prominent business and civic leaders. Among other accomplishments, he was owner and proprietor of the John H. Anderson and Sons department store which he established in 1893 and president of the First National Banking Company in Logan in 1917.

Mr. Anderson was mayor of Logan City from 1910 to 1912.
