Anthon Anderson was born on December 2, 1851 in Stift, Norway. His parents were Gunder Anderson and Kari Anderson. He married Mary Findley Henderson on March 11, 1872, Leolin Hurst on November 6, 1895, and Inez Elnora Egbert on December 6, 1907 and had eighteen children. He died in Logan, Utah on April 14, 1923.
Mr. Anderson was for many years a prominent figure in the lumber trade of Logan, establishing what is today "Anderson & Sons Company" in 1890.
Mr. Anderson was twice elected mayor of Logan, Utah.
