Marriner S. Eccles House

The house was built between 1913 and 1914 by Marriner Eccles. Mr. Eccles was a prominent Logan business man, excelling in the banking and sugar industries. In 1934 he was appointed Governor of the Federal Reserve Board by President F.D. Roosevelt. The Federal Reserve Building in Washington D.C. the Eccles Building, was named in his honor.

Moses Thatcher House

Moses Thatcher was a Logan City Alderman for mayor William B. Preston from 1870 to 1880. He was called to be an Apostle in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 1879 until his death in 1909. He is buried in the Logan Cemetery.
