Logan City Hydro 3 Unit 4

Date: about 1923

Address: Logan Canyon

In 1903 the Logan City power plant was built on the Logan River in Logan Canyon. In 1923 the taxpayers of Logan voted for a bond to rebuild the City Plant. It was shut down for reconstruction during the latter part of 1923 and beginning of 1924 and then resumed operation. This automatic "governor" controlled the flow of water through the pressure pipe, according to the varying current demands made upon it.
