Book: The Diary by Eileen Goudge

This novel blends romance and mystery when two grown daughters learn about their mother through her diary.  Who was she? What choices did she have to make? Is their father the love of their mother's life, or was there another?  How well do adult children know their parents? The answers could surprise you.  A delightful novel, moving, warm, and heartrending.

Probably the most frequent comment heard last Friday evening at Logan Library's Author Night was "Wow, what a great event". With more than 1,000 people in attendance authors Shannon Hale, Ally Condie, James Dashner, Jessica Day George, and Brandon Mull, thrilled the audience, told stories, talked about each other, and answered questions from excited fans. Book signing followed and continued until midnight.
