ALA Award Winners
The American Library Association announced their youth media awards on Monday, and the following titles received awards:
John Newbery Medal for the most outstanding contribution to children's literature:
Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool
Randolph Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished American picture book for children:
A Sick Day For Amos McGee written by Philip C. Stead, illustrated by Erin E. Stead
Michael L. Printz Award for excellence in literature written for young adults:
Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi

One Day Book Sale
The Logan Library is holding a large book sale on Friday, October 15 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in the library's Jim Bridger Room. Used books, DVDs, videos, and other items will be available - all for $2.00 or less. Proceeds will benefit the library.
