Bookcover: Candy and Me (a love story)Here is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff.

Book: Candy and Me (A Love Story) by Hilary Liftin
Recommended by: Kara, Librarian
I love candy, and I love this book. Hilary Liftin crafts a memoir using her love for all things sugar coated as a lens to examine her life. Liftin is so honest and so entertainingly self-effacing that you can't help but like her. This book will make you nostalgic for candy you haven't had since you were a child and grateful for the sweetness that already exists in your life. Perfect for the reader with a sweet tooth.

Bookcover: The EnemyHere is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff.

Book: The Enemy by Lee Child
Recommended by: Lois, Associate Librarian
If you haven't met the loner and ex-military cop Jack Reacher, you are in for a treat. In a series of stand-alone suspense thrillers, Reacher strolls into town, sets thing right with lots of violence, then quietly hits the road again. The Enemy is the series prequel and my first Reacher novel. I was hooked.

twenty wishesHere is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff.

Book: Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber
Recommended by: Karen, Senior Librarian
We return to Seattle for number 4 in the Blossom Street series. Debbie Macomber brings together four widows whose lives have not turned out as planned. Each writes a list of twenty wishes of things they always wanted to do but never have. These women find out that wishes can come true, but perhaps not in the way you expect. This heartwarming novel left me looking forward to the next one in the Blossom Street series.
