VITA - Tax Assistance With the help of IRS certified volunteers, come get your federal and state taxes done for free. Simply call 2-1-1 to schedule an appointment. VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, is a program implemented through the statewide Earn It. Keep It. Save It. Coalition made up of local community partners. The coalition works to recruit IRS certified volunteers that provide free tax preparation services to low to moderate-income households (incomes below $51,000 in 2012).
