Every month on the 18th, we celebrated each decade the library has been open.
August 18, 2015 (Tuesday) we celebrated the 1940s with displays on what life and the library was like during the 1940s. We also had newsreels and cartoons, toys and candy from that decade. There were also displays on the 'Little Golden Books' and the 'Victory Book' program supporting our troops during WWII. That evening we showed a special presentation of the movie Casablanca.
