Oliver Ormsby House

The home was built in 1890 by Oliver Ormsby, the first college trained medical doctor in the community. He established the Pioneer Drug Store on Main Street and was the first to practice major surgery in the valley. George W. Thatcher Jr. & his wife Emily Jean Crisman bought the home in 1920. Their daughter Patience lived in the house until her death in 1980. It is now the Anniversary Inn Logan.

This is the daily Oregon Shortline train, heading north towards Cache Junction, Utah. It was taken just short of the Peterson farm (south) in Petersboro, Utah. These trains usually consisted of one mail car, one freight car and one passenger car.
