Lady Lyric Turns 100
The people of Cache Valley have a long tradition for loving the theater. After the unfortunate destruction of the Thatcher Opera House by fire in 1912, the elegant and practical Lyric Theater was constructed to help fill the void until a larger theater could be built. It was completed in 1913 and this year it celebrates its 100th birthday. This history of this gem of the community has been retold in a new hour long documentary.
