This week the Logan Library is celebrating its 95th birthday. It was created by city ordinance on April 18, 1916 and has been serving the needs of Logan residents ever since!

Last Friday a former mayor of Logan City, Richard A. Chambers died suddenly. The world was a different place in many ways when he led the city from 1966 to 1972. The staff at the Logan library extend our condolences to the family.

The Logan Library is pleased to launch this new webpage which will feature the following:

• News and Announcements: We will use this blog to announce events, present new items added to the library's Special Collections, and share lesser known history tidbits related to Logan history and genealogy.
• Digital Projects: The library plans to present increasingly more digital content on the web. As these projects are completed, they will be found on this page.
• Recommended Online Resources: It can be difficult to find relevant websites that will add to your research tool kit. This directory of links will focus on links of general importance as well as important links for local research.
